My Gratitude is for so many things, it’s difficult to know where to start.
Primarily, I’m grateful for Jesus Christ in my life, for without his healing spirit and teaching me how to love with all my heart, nothing else in life would matter.
Thank You Jesus for Everything I have, Everything I am and Everything that’s ever happened to me in my life, for without all the bad and good things, my life here on earth could not be complete.

I am grateful to the Lord for my health, my wife, our children and grandchildren.
I’m truly thankful for my friends.
Grateful that I have a home and a vehicles that runs and rarely causes problems.
I’m grateful for the ability to earn a living.
I’m thankful for the ability to read and the pleasure that books have provided.
For education and the ability and joy of learning.
Without computers and the internet I would not have the ability or pleasure to communicate with so many wonderful people throughout the world.
For all this I thank the Lord.

Stewart,
What a wonderful idea!
I’m grateful for so many things, but for today, I am grateful to have such a wonderful family.
My children are my greatest joy, and my husband is a wonderful support and a terrific father.
I think it’s important to have an attitude of gratitude everyday.
Live the life you love, and love the life you live!

I am grateful for the kind of life I can be living thanks to the Internet.
It’s a great feeling not to have all this stress that corporate life brings you.
I am also grateful for having such great friends as you and Dirk.
And most of all I am grateful that I am healthy so I can enjoy life at its’ best.

I was talking with a friend of mine recently who was complaining that he no longer enjoyed his work.
He said that what had once been his dream job that filled him with excitement and passion had now become a daily drudge.
I agreed that this can happen over time and that it was probably time to move on to a new career.
However, I also suggested that in order to put himself in a state to be attractive to a potential employer he should shift his feelings towards his current place.
I suggested that he list all the things he has in his life that he is in any way grateful for that he would not have if he did not have this job.
He came back to me a few days later, saying that he had filled several pages of his journal with the list and still had things coming to mind on a regular basis.
He says he is still looking for a new opportunity to expand and grow into a new career, but the urgency and the pain have since gone, and he feels far more relaxed and confident in interviews.
The result being that instead of hoping for another job, he is now selecting a new opportunity for the future. An entirely different mindset, one that is filled with hope and optimism.
The future is suddenly bright and the present is filled with gratitude.

I am grateful for so many things, but today, I’m most grateful for my family.
When I look at my kids I am often overcome with a feeling of gratitude. They are perfect, wonderful beings.

Let nothing disturb you,
Nothing affright you,
All things are passing,
God never changes!
Patient endurance attaineth to all things;
Who God possesses in nothing is wanting;
Alone God suffices.

Hi Stewart,
I’m so greatful for a life that has allowed me…
To do the things I’ve done.
To see the things I’ve seen.
To meet my soulmate.
To feel the way I do with every smile from my two little boys eyes.
The health and vitality to squeeze as many more of these things into the REST of our lives!
Your on your way to the Million mate. Good luck!

I am grateful to wake each day, and know I have the love of my family and honest, caring friends.
I am grateful for each day that comes and I hope they never end.
I am grateful for the little things that tend to make me grin, but most of all I’m grateful that I can remember where I’ve been.
Cherish every moment.

Hi Stewart – Love the concept of your site.
You know we spend so much of our time focused on the past or focused on the future that we miss what’s here right now.
The being-ness (or whatever you want to call it) that we are doesn’t want or need anything.
It’s already whole and complete exactly as it is.
I teach meditation techniques, so you’d think I should know this already, but often I find myself forgetting!
What am I grateful for?
I’m grateful that there’s people like you reminding us of what we already know.
Peace be with you,
Matt Clarkson

Stewart, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this really cool aLittleGratitude.com project.
Thanks a million for thinking it up.
It’s so easy to neglect the many good things that happen in our lives just because of a few things that don’t go as we want them to.
So yes — gratitude is very essential.
I have so MANY things to be grateful for that it’s so hard to see me unhappy.
Even when things don’t go right at any particular moment, I dedicate blocks of time to luxuriate in the joy of things that I have or of the few good things that are happening in my life which are great… and instantly the feeling of gratitude replaces the dull moments.
So, Stewart, you are indeed right about why everyone ought to be happy and grateful. You see, the most awesome part of being grateful is that YOU are one who truly benefits each time you are grateful.
Gratitude makes you happier and ultimately more successful in every endeavor you attempt in life.
We all owe it to ourselves to be grateful if we want to live a truly successful life.
That’s why I continually try to be grateful for the air I breathe, the food I eat, the water I drink, the enthusiasm with which I have FUN each day (others call this WORK).
I am grateful for lots and lots of things — far more than this entire website can contain,
.
But seriously, GRATITUDE opens all the doors!
Finally, I am grateful for having YOU as my friend because you were indeed there for me. I hope to be there for you too when you need me,
.

The cost of life is … living it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be living it in the good ol’ U.S. of A.
Our founding fathers said “the cost of freedom is eternal vigilance” I’m grateful for my freedom and the responsibility that comes with it.
Brian Tracy says “the cost of success is that it need be paid for in full and in advance” I’m grateful for past successes and the opportunity for future success.
This might sound a little odd but … oh heck … I’m grateful for the realization that there ain’t no free lunch.
I’m grateful for my living situation, hot and cold fresh running water, flushing toilets, loving pets (Jack, my cocker spaniel, my five cats, Ebba, Fauna, Willy, Peanut and Hennie, my 92 ford explorer with 5 speed on the floor, my job, my entrepreneurial endeavors.
I’m grateful for our differences. We, you and I and all that read this are unique. There has never been anyone like us, there isn’t anyone like us and there never will be anyone like us.
I’m most grateful for what we ALL have in common and wish this would bring us all together in spite of our differences. We have this in common …
We all want happiness.
We all want good health.
We all want to be reasonably prosperous.
We all want security.
We all want good friends.
We all want peace of mind.
AND …
We all not only want but need HOPE!
(HOPE with good reason, I might add.)
I’m grateful for faith (belief in things unseen).
I’m grateful for the absolute best medicine … laughter!
I’m grateful that I can combine faith and laughter … what does an agnostic, dyslexic, insomniac do?
stays awake all night and wonders if there really is a doG.
I’m grateful for … all of existence … the four loves … you … me … them … us …
I’m grateful for a lot more BUT I won’t bore anyone any more … so … in order to express my gratitude … THANKS! and above all … be well!

Well i’ve always said “that no matter how bad you think things are, there is always someone worse off than you.”
At the moment i haven’t got a lot, no money(i owe the bank). I feel as if i’m getting no where in life.I want to get on with things but there is always something standing in my way.
Life really gets me down at times but i’m a fighter and i know i will survive.
I have got a roof over my head and i have my son and daughter, even though at times they drive me around the bend.
I have my family and a few friends where as some people don’t.
I have many things to be grateful for, the gift of life and health are probably top of my list.
Stewart, it’s great knowing you, if your back over my way give me a shout. xx

I am grateful to god to bless me with a great family life and good health, things which we humans take for granted.
Instead of complaining of what we do not have or want ,we can all be happy if we compare ourself to those who in a worse situation than ourselves and have less than us.

I am grateful that I met my girlfriend Tina this year.

I live in San Diego…. the firestorm is still burning out of control.
I am grateful for me the winds changed and the fire that was heading straight for my home has gone the other way.
My home, my life, my dogs are safe.
I am grateful for the pouring out of help to those who are not so lucky in the wake of the San Diego Firestorm 2007.
People have poured out donations and places to stay for those in need and their pets.
Its pretty incredible.

There is so much to have gratitude for that I can’t really put them all down.
So I’ll be grateful for the one who has been there and supported me through it all, my wife.
She has to remind me sometimes to see the gratitude in some things but she always does.

Hi Stewart,
I am very grateful for coming to know Jesus – the source of my joy, peace, and direction in life. And just recently God gave me a new job and it was too timely.
At times, I feel dissappointed about some expecations that don’t happen but I believe this is God’s way of teaching me to become more mature in faith. For this I am all the more grateful because God is not finished with me yet.
God bless…

The most precious life giving thing you can give is to be grateful.
To recount in hard times all that is good.
To see in the small things that make the BIG picture.
I love to see the amazement on a child’s face who sees a rainbow for the first time.
To hold a tiny hand wrapped around one of my fingers.
To look into the eyes of my dearest friend and husband & know that ‘we’ are part of this incredible journey.
He has been there since we fell in love in high school, even though our story left us almost 20 years apart, we still were drawn back and now have our own Destiny.
She turns one year old tomorrow. I am so thankful for her!
For knowing that without a shadow of a doubt that I have given all to my children and hope that will serve them well.
I am thankful for modern medicine that allowed me to live not only with my 1st but with all 8 of my wonderful kids!
I am thankful for technology that has afforded me precious friendships across the world I would otherwise have missed.
I am grateful for those that take the time to smell the flowers, watch the sunsets, breath in the mountain air, adore the seasons, and appreciate them all.
Thank you Stewart for providing such a lovely place to share with so many – so much
I am grateful for you!

I am grateful for my health, my family, all the things I know, and somethings that I don’t.
For my past and the ability to look forward with my head up.
My friends that get me through the hard times and laugh with me in the good times.
My love. My faith.
The hard times that make me appreciate the easy times.
My freedom and the sacrifice that it takes.
The soldiers that protect me, the teachers that guide me, and all those who still stand beside me.

I’m grateful for my amazing husband and for the love that he continues to show me day after day. I thankful for everyday that I wake up and get to take another breath. I’m grateful for amazing parents who raised me to believe that I can do anything. I’m grateful for amazing friends who stick with me through anything. And most importantly I’m grateful for a forgiving, understanding, and patient God who puts up with me and continues to love me as his daughter each and everyday that I exist on this wonderful planet!
October 30th, 2007 at 16:53
I am grateful for each new day, for forgiveness and the love of my husband and children. For a loving God and a kind Savior who see me through my darkest hours of lonesomeness. For belief in eternity that will be kind to me. To know that for the bad that is manifest in this world, there is an equal and great good that is in this world even if you have to look for it. For kisses from my husband that curl my toes, for kisses from my grand-babies that melt my heart. For outstretched arms of my savior that are always opened to hold me up when I lose sight of being grateful and get me back into focus.

I am grateful for every moment I have had and every person I have met – the good and the bad – because these experiences have made me the person I am. I am grateful for the opportunites that the Universe has presented and that I have taken to explore new worlds and cultures. I am grateful for my health, for every new day, every living creature (especially the birds which wake me up every morning), for the moon and the stars, for nature and Mother Earth. Love, peace and happiness to you all.

As I write this on my birthday,
I am Grateful you were inspired;
To give us all a place to share
the Gratitude that is required.
I am Grateful for my education,
for the many jobs I’ve had:
but they pale in comparison,
with my loving Mom and Dad.
I am Grateful for my Family,
my sisters, children and Wife;
loving unconditionally,
the secret to a Rich Life.
To have a Happy, Healthy life,
and Wealth beyond our Dreams;
It does not matter what we do
For Gratitude it seems;
Is the real Secret to all there is,
and all that will ever be.
And so I am ever Grateful for;
God, my Life and Liberty.

Collossians 3:15-17
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Every day I am thankful and start my day with thanks – as I sit here what is there to be thankful for?
The food I’m eating (chilli con carne)
The people who pick the rice
The people who herd the cows
The people who work in slaughter doing a job I am glad I don’t have to do
The people who made the bowl I am eating from and the spoon I use
The laptop I am using to type this
Having fingers to I can type
Having eyes so I can see the screen
No longer having problems with RSI
The people who make the computers
For the money that allowed me to buy the computer
For the skills I have been given to be able to earn the money to afford the computer
The couch I am sitting on
The cushion I am leaning against
I am warm when others are cold
I have a roof when others are without shelter
I eat when others starve
It’s limitless – look around you at all the things that are taken for granted
I’m thankful for the challenges that have made me stronger
Thankful for my wonderful family – my brothers and sisters and Mother and Father
My person family with my daughter and wife
My friends
..
Warmly
Paul

I know it’s slightly passed Valentine’s day but I’m so grateful for the best love note that I’ve ever received. It’s found in the Bible at John 3:16.
For God so loVed the world,
That He gAve
His onLy
BegottEn
SoN
That whoever
Believes In Him
Should Not perish,
But have Everlasting life.
God loves us like no one else ever could. He showed that love when He sent His Son, Jesus, to be our Saviour. He’s also the best companion we’ll ever have.
God Bless YOU & Yours!

I have so many things to be grateful for that i always try to think positively even when things aren’t going as i would want. I usually find out that there was a good reason for whatever was happening! I am so grateful for my husband who has been by my side for 30 years, my two wonderful children and their partners, my gorgeous grandchildren. Also my parents, who have always put their children first and are always there for any of us. I am grateful for a very special friend who is honest, wise, funny, loyal, truthful and a soulmate on my spiritual path.

Yes, so inspiring, it shows that we as a person should be grateful everyday for what we have in our lives, the blessings we received, the sweetness a life can offer us and above all let us be grateful that love lays in our hearts and peace in our minds because that is the key to have freedom of our soul. A secret promise made in earnest-
Escapes my lips and whispered secrets keep
I’m grateful that my life be never dull

Does keep my vessel full.

I am grateful to be part of a global gratitude project in South Africa, where we also collect messages of gratitude from all over the world and place them in a beautiful garden of Gratitude for the community to enjoy. I am also grateful to see that there are many projects to create an awareness of Gratitude so that there will be healing of the planet and it’s inhabitants.

I have found that in every situation we can find a reason to be grateful. Whenever I have had challenges I have gratitude for the network of friends I have. I am grateful for this site and to see others living in gratitude. I wear a pendant from waves of gratitude that reminds me of all life has to offer. Give it Live it, gratitude.

I am amazed at how a man like me can be so ungrateful at times. It must be sin to be caught up striving yet forgetting the goodness of God . Reasons to be glad:
- I am cancer free.
-I am physically pain free.
-I have a very smart and thoughtful wife who still laughs at my jokes.
- I have two strong young sons, fully grown and facing the challenge of life. I know they will call on God again one day as well.
- I have a Dad who came home every night from work ,did not mistreat his family and did not give himself to mindless ambition.
-I can see out these eyeballs and witness Gods glory before me.
- I can mentally process what I see.
- I still have a job to go to.
- I have a daily opportunity to serve Gods higher purposes.
- I live in America.
- I live in Northern California. . . a scenic and clean area with all the elements of the big city . Advantages and problems.
To me I am a grievous sinner if I am not mindful of the favor I have received from God. Help me Lord not to take your kindness for granted like the spoiled modern American I am.
Forgive me Lord for my stupid hissy fits that usually are rooted in selfish fear and impatience. I have forgotten the mercy of my God. -Esteve

I’m grateful for the chance to open my eyes every morning and know that I have another day to live to the full – to meet new people, see things I have never seen before and share all of the joys (and sorrows) of life with the people who mean the most to me: My princess (the most beautiful in every way) Silvia, my family and all of my precious friends. I am grateful for every single one of the wonderful people I have been blessed to have in my life.

Even though I am a person liable to always seeing the glass half empty as opposed to half full, I am grateful for the way I am. I may be like a wave in the sea, once up and once down, but that just keeps my life away from monotony and numbness….in today’s world of many pleasures but heartaches too, I am grateful for having a deep heart which despite having suffered a lot itself remains open and welcoming to others. i am grateful for the joy and laugther I give to my close ones and friends and the joy and laugther I receive in doing so.

I am grateful for so many things both big and small. I’m grateful for my life, my husband, and children. I am grateful for living in the United States and all the freedoms and comforts it offers. I am most of all grateful for God. Without Jesus in my life my life would not be as blessed as it is.

I am so grateful for my garden. I am grateful that I can walk out the back door and pick a fresh head of brocolli. I am grateful for the birds attracted to my garden and the cheer they bring in their singing. I am grateful for the beauty peace and colour, and the ecosystem that thrives and survives in nature at one with nature. I am grateful that I have a garden and can garden and can play in my garden. I am grateful that others can enjoy and share in it to. I am grateful that nature has repaid me so graciously and harmoniously with food and flowers and it is all organic. I am grateful for the knowledge that anything removed is replaced and returned, and I am grateful that spring is nearly here and the garden is awakening, oh joy, I am so grateful. Thankyou Clare x

Dear Stewart,
Showing gratitude is the easiest way to create more prosperity. Even having all the money in the world is not a sure way for feeling wealthy. The richest people in the world are some of the poorest people in spirit.
So I am grateful for being able to be grateful.
I may not have millions in the bank, but I am grateful for all that I have.
I feel abundant, because I see the abundance around us.
I am grateful for all that God has created for us to enjoy.
I am grateful for all the love and prosperity God created for us to enjoy…
I am grateful for being able to feel joy…the emotion of love…
I could go on for a while, but I’ll leave it at this.
Love and forever grateful.
Mimi

I am grateful to have seen a vast amount of this wonderful planet, and to have met so many wonderful people from so many different cultures.
We are all one and the same; it’s time to let go of the ego and we must strive to be more accepting and loving and to embrace our differences.

Stewart,
What a wonderful idea.
I am grateful for all my life experiences. For they have brought me to where I am today. I am grateful for my health, family, friends, career, and mind. I have only recently started making sure that I tell God all the things I am grateful for on a daily basis. I was doing research for a Website I am working on, when I came across your site. So, I am grateful for having this opportunity to share with you why I am grateful.
Thank you,

I am grateful that my brother-in-law shared this site with me. He helped me remember, at a time when I am feeling stressed, that I have been blessed. Above everything I am grateful for God’s grace and forgiveness. Everyday that I try and fail to be a better person, he allows me to start again. Thank you God for: your son, Jesus, my family, my health, my job, my friends, and my basic needs being met above and beyond many. Thank you for the reminder, Stewart. God is using you to reach others. God Bless~

Hello Stewart!
I came across your website today and just had to write you an email!
I work for an organization called Agents of Change Global Movements. We are a youth empowerment/humanitarian organization. We strongly believe Gratitude is truly the first step in the right direction. We host seminars (fun ones!) and go to schools to spread the word of Gratitude to our youth! We have many other projects on the go in alignment with Gratitude.
We strongly support your vision!!!
I listened to your poem, it was beautiful. I deeply felt the Gratitude you shared with each line.
Thank you for your wonderful mission!
With Infinite Love and Gratitude,
-Deanna Wilson
P.S I tried to send this to the support (at) a littlegratitude.com but was un deliverable.

I’m just grateful that I can view gratitude now as a tool- used to think that gratitude should come naturally and other people were born with the gift, but not me. Now, I know it can be cultivated.
Also, I realize that the process of gratitude is the important thing for me
So thank you for this opportunity to share some gratitude!

This is a great blog. Have any of you heard of the movie The Gratitude Experiment? It is an upcoming film by the creator of The Opus (www.TheOpusMovie.com) You can see the trailer at (www.MMPWmovies.com) It is very interested and places Gratitude, faith and science all in the balance. Which is the most important? I enjoyed his first film very much. I think this next one will be very interesting as well.

I lost sight of my gratitude, and then came across a pop up ad on one of the sites I was browsing, with a picture of a little girl enveloped in poverty and dirt eating a slice of bread and I realized, I am grateful for being in the situation, places and life I am in. That I am grateful to God, as He knows how much of life I can take and how much I cannot handle.
January 12th, 2009 at 23:28
Hard to be grateful when surrounded and acting negative, but I’ll give it a shot. I’m grateful for the people in my life. there are some who’d I rather not want to share my time with (my boss who constantly puts me down), but I’m grateful that I still have a job and great people I have to work with. I’m grateful my family is healthy, and I’m grateful my sister found somebody to share her life with. I’m grateful that I will be getting married this year with a wonderful person. Thank you God for this. Life doesn’t mean anything if I couldn’t share it with the people in my life.

Gratitude is the sister of the true love. Large numbers of the things I have and enjoy are produced and given by others. I’m grateful for the workers. Thanks to them, we can have desks, chairs, books, pencils and so on. I’m grateful for the teachers. Thanks to them, we can have the best power on the earth—knowledge. I’m grateful for the farmers. Thanks to them, we are not troubled by hunger. There are thousands of millions of people I am grateful for, my parents, my friends, the man who has helped me, the person who has ever encouraged me and cheer me up, the one who was friendly to me and so on. I always remember that giving is as important as taking. If I would like to get something from others, I do not forget to give him something first as well as to thank him after getting what I need. It is not only a well-educated person should do, but also all the people in the world who regard themselves as human beings.
Love is a key to every closed door. Gratitude is a bright star in the dark sky. To make our life perfect, importance should be attached to love and gratitude. If so, our life will be colorful and meaningful.

Thank you so much to provide us a place to express our gratitude, Stewart. I’m so grateful that my parents, sister, brother and other relatives love me so much. Without them, I don’t think I can study in a college and enjoy the life. I’m so grateful that I have a very good boyfriend. He is very loyal to me, we don’t stay together so often, but he always love me so much. When I was angry or sad, he tried his best to cheer me up. When I was sick, the caring message would arrive at the right time. That’s why we have been falling in love for almost three years. And we do bellieve that we can live together forever in the future. I’m so grateful that I have so many lovely friends. They take care of me, encourage me and support me all the time. I’m so grateful that I have so many good teachers. They give me knowledge, teach me to be a good person and guide me to my dreams. Most of time, I do think that I am the happiest girl in the world. Thank you so much for all of you. Best wishes for you.

Thanks for giving me the chance to love my friends and family, to share everything good between us, to pursue the dreams in my heart… To realize a dream sometimes can be hard and lonely, but everytime I feel too hard to insist, I tell myself it’s so grateful that I have the chance and ability to pursue. My aunt and uncle always guide me. My relatives always care about me. And I friends always cheer me up. These are so many people and things I want to thank for. So I pray evryday that all the people who love me and l love are healthy and happy. And I will be more excellent and to take care of them. Furthermore, there are still many people need our help. So if we can help others, try our best to do so.
Best wishes to everyone.

I’m grateful that I still alive.
Isn’t it the most beautiful thing in the world?
Everyday, I heard a lot of people, including the poor ,the rich, the young and the old ,lost of their lives due to a lot of reasons.
Because I still alive, I can try what I want to do. I can have a chance to taste the sweet of love; I can have a chance to make friends to others; I can have a chance to have meals make by my dear mam; I can have a chance to feel the pain to give birth to a baby…
I’m grateful that I still alive.

What a great idea. I’m grateful to you for being motivated to set this site up and to spirit for guiding your hand.
I’ve had a bit of a rough time over the last few years but I have determined that each night before I go to sleep to think of 3 things I’m grateful for during that day and 3 things I will be grateful for tomorrow. Your site has encouraged me in this endeavor.
I’m grateful for the food I eat, clothes I wear, my friends, my family and Pilates which has almost cured my migraine and knee pain.
I’m grateful to everyone who has put comments on this site.
May 26th, 2009 at 22:31
What can i say you leave me with a feeling of augh, was so amazing to read the many comments of gratitude.
Do you realise what a mammoth task you have made to show the world what gratitude is all about? You’re one very amazing guy and through your work you are making a difference to other people and showing them enlightenment and the joys of living.
My gratitude comes in having the pleasure to meet you on site.
My gratitude comes in being able so see, hear, feel and touch.
My gratitude comes in having a place i can call home.
My gratitude comes in having food to eat and a warm bed to sleep in, knowing lots of people struggle to have the simple basics.
Gratitude comes in knowing i have a job i like to do and lovely people around me.
Gratitude comes in knowing that my job allows me to share the pain and problems of others
Gratitude comes in the feeling of humility, of listening and trying to understand how hard life can be, how it can be soul destroying and hard work yet have so many joys and pleasures at the same time.
I’m grateful that i was able to become a counselor and use these skills to help and support others.
I’m grateful for all bad experiences I’ve encountered in my life. From every encounter has come a great learning of love and appreciation. From every good experience has come blessings that are unmeasurable.
Gratitude comes in loving those from the past, from the present and those you will meet in the future regardless of colour, class or culture, for everyone who crosses your path and for how ever long they stay on it with you, they are there to teach you something. Learn well.
THANK YOU STEWART YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION. MAY YOU REACH YOUR MILLION AS I’M SURE YOU WILL!

For every situation, you can always take something positive away, although at the time it may not be obvious. I think back to when my father died very suddenly, I was grateful that he died knowing me, and kept his dignity right to the end.
Every day I can find many things to be grateful for, a smile from someone you don’t know, a kind word. I always try to give at least 3 compliments to people per day – try it and see how you feel.
Stewart, thank you for coming into my life with this site, you are doing an amazing job!
June 5th, 2009 at 15:20
I am incredibly grateful for all of the blessings in my life, but this morning I am especially grateful for having found both this site and another: http://www.dailybearings.com.
It is so nice to be able to share the things that I am grateful for and to know that there are many people out there who choose to focus on the good in their lives instead of the bad. It is so easy to complain and dwell in the negative, but it is so much better to embrace the positives!

So thankful , i can still wake up in the morning everyday, streching out and taking a breath though the air is not so fresh and clean in Guangzhou.
So thankful, i can still go to school everyday , with schoolbag on the back , joking with classmate ,or even with an absent mind.
So thankful , i can still leading a peaceful life ,complaining aboht the food supplies in the school canteen, and the time we have to spend on climing up the 8th floor to the dorm.
So thankful, i got a pass in erm4, which also means there is no time for me to play except for the preparation for term 8.
So thankful , my parents and i keep reminding each other at times, with satisfied smile on the face.
So thankful, i can express my own feelings here, in the public, having you to listen to.
So thankful, i can even complain…
So thankful, the teacher had introduced me here.
I hope , i can keep this feeling every day, to gratituding what i have owned and what i’m going to have…
And ,at last ,thanks to the technological stuff,i have to send the same email to the same blog again and again…
After all ,it teaches me what patience refer to .

Well, everyone knows that life is doomed or destined,
which makes the world become so unfair.
Sometimes we have no other choices but sometimes the choice is up to ourselves.
So,
I ‘m grateful that what I choose to be.
I ‘m grateful that I have a great, huge and fabulous family.
I ‘m grateful that I have many lovely or funny guys around me.
I always have a gratitude even the fate is playing a joke on me.
We all know that life is so unequal and we have to face it.
That’s to say,
embracing a gratitude heart may help us to know more about the world
and human being.

Living long enough in this material world will make me lose faith on this world, it’s hard to tell what’s going on in the world, every one is fighting for what he wants, but seldom do we slow down and take a break to enjoy what we have had.
Now it’s time to slow down, and enjoy your time.

Sometimes I don’t think be grateful can help us change anything, well, we can be grateful, while be stolen, can this kind of emotion can retrieve our losses? We should be grateful to the killer who shot in the campus for it didn’t happen around us, and how about the families of those who died, what would they be grateful for?
Maybe it is the Life which so tough that makes us to be grateful or it is because of the smooth of it?
Of cause we should be grateful, which could make us feel easier and to get over something as time’s going on, but after the emotion, there are many things waiting for us to change, to rebuilt, or to eliminate.
That is the valor, with which can stop others from suffering the same loess, by which people will find the origin of the playground shootings, from which Life can be more faire and square.
However, I am very grateful that Stewart and Miss Zhou could give me this stage to let out my opinion. What I want to say is: First, be grateful; Second, take action.

Who i am going to express my gratitude to is a very special guy. He came close to our family as an angle to help us after my father passed away. Yes , he, now, is my mother dear helpmate. He is careful , he is gracious, he is faithful, and what’s real hard-won is he is a good cook! Oh, thank god~
I really wish Mom and dear uncle can marry as soon as possible. However, I think God has beared something called “jealousy”, they can’t just marry without considering anything that are connected with their relationship. Their respective families(especially the old )?their own worries?the prejudice of this society and so on.
Anyway, I really want to show my sincere gratitude to him, my dear uncle. You know, it’s my first time to speak out my feelings, and I hope anyone who hear this or see this would also give them the pure wishes! I hope that the special and happy day I can call him “Dad” can come with the least delay possible.
Thank you~~

I want to express my sincere gratitude to a very special guy who came close to our family after my father had passed away. He is careful, he is gracious, he is talktive which is really very as good as gold since my mom doesn’t like to talk to much. And what is hard-won is he is such a good cook that when the first time I and my sister tasted his masterpieces, we couldn’t help to express our deep appreciations to his cooking skill~~
Anyway, I really hope that my mom and my dear uncle can get married with the least delay possible. Further more, this is my first time to show my gratitude to him, i hope that anybody see this can also share my happiness.

Here, I’d like to express my great gratitude to the first life existing in this lovely planet. Because of it, the entire world appears; the ecosphere and telesphere can coexist; human beings have the chance to communicate and get along; and everyone can experience this wonderful earth ,with the truest feelings. Whatever we come across, smile or tears, ease or pain, the lives around are compatible with each other and tide over every minute. It seems too nihilistical to understand, however, what do you think about your own connection with the surroundings, your family, relatives, friends, even strangers? All of them effect our lives. Thanks to the first life, we have own thoughts, home range, knowledge and everything. Quoting a Buddhist term which says “one is all, all is one”. Isn’t it?

Here, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to “him”, a person who influenced me deeply. Before, Ithink the world is simple
and beautiful. But it is him who told me what reality is, what life is! And now I am gradually understanding his words. He makes
me more mature and self- reliance, gives me strength towards life. I really thank him, and I wish me happiness.

I am grateful for my parents, who give me life and always support me;
I am grateful for my friends, who give me joy and always accompany me;
I am grateful for my teachers, who give me knowledge and always encourage me ;
I am grateful for the world, which breeds us and give us life;
I am grateful for …
I am grateful for all the people and all the things around me, it’s them that make my life so colorful and wonderful;
I am also grateful for myself that I have a grateful heart!
March 28th, 2010 at 08:25
No doubt, the first one I want to exend my gratitude is my mother, who sacrificed her youth without any hesitation to gave birth to me and care for me for my whole life. She always stands by me no matter what I am eager to do and believe that I am always competent for achieving it. And she tolerates all of my wilful behaviors since I was born and never complains any of it. In her heart, she regards me as her little precious girl forever and ever.In order to supply me with comfortable life, she works pretty hard and always gives me the best.
What a great mother she is! I know the words “thank you” can not fully express my gratitude, but I still want to say: Thank you for
everything you have done for me, mom. Of course, no exception for my father and my brother, who have done the same thing for me.
And I also want to thank my friends who always help me, support me, and comfort me, people who surround me, and the society
which offer me the platform to develop. Thank you, everyone and everything!

I am grateful for individulas like you that have a vision to change the world one message, one person at a time. Grateful that my health isn’t keeping me from helping others in ways that I can — working on the domestic violence hotline, talking on the radio show with survivors of domestic violence, babysitting my granddaughter while my daughter goes to school learning about Nursing and working, entertaining others on the internet through blipping music and twittering, etc.
We may not be able to actually walk the miles; we can certainly walk our talk and live our lives in the fullest mode that we are capable of doing.
March 28th, 2010 at 14:44

One evening, I was sitting before the computer, chatting with my sister through the QQ. She just came back from the beautiful old town Fenghuang after a short trip. I had worried about her in the past few days. But thanks God, she was back safely. Suddenly, at that moment, my heart was filled with happiness. I looked at the sky, I was grateful……
I am that kind of person: you do me a little, I will be grateful forever……
Where I am being, what I am holding, who I am staying with, all of them are what I want to show my gratitude……
I thanks to my dear family. Because of my parents, I can come to this world, experiencing what the life is. They give me love, caring, happiness, tear and smile. Even though I had grown up, they still give me their whole heart. No matter what I want to do, they always be with me, support me! Thanks for my brother and sister, because of you, I am not alone during my journey of life. You give me a hand when I am suffering. You smile towards me when I am successful. I am very proud of being in this family!!!
I thanks to my dear friends. We play crazy together, we sing loudly together, we work hard together, we smile happily together, we quarrel fiercely together. So grateful that 1/3 of my life time is be with you, my dears. Really……
So grateful to my life…… O(?_?)O……

I’m lucky that I have 2 dear uncles-my mother’s younger brothers. When I was a baby, they became my baby-sitters,since my mother had to work on weekends. So,the 2 college boys needed to have a long-period “fight” with the naugty baby girl~Or,in other words,I became their doll, allowing them to make good use of their camera.
Actually, they act like my elder brothers rather than uncles. They worry about what I care, and cheer for my progress. They keep encouraging me to learn more, promising that they will cover my college tuition(they did it.).Entering the university, laptop and digital camera came to my hands because the brothers thought that it’s time for their little baby girl to have them.
They are always ready to offer their girl a good condition to grow up,to study and to develop.
I am grateful to have these two gentle elder “brothers”.
They are my angels.

Being grateful is such an unordinary emotion for me since I am a person who do not very often express my feelings towards others.
Yet there have always been a lot of perpons who deserve my sincere gratefulness. My parents come to the first place of course.
One would never forget the person who gave him his life. My mum gave me my life on an extremely hot summer day, from then on,
she devoted all herself to take care of me, to bring me up and teach me how to be a person of probity, honesty and deligence which
has been the most important thing to build up a present me. I am really grateful to her, and also other family members like my
grandparents and my younger brother. I just do not think one can live without support from his family, and I believe that every one is
grateful to his family.
Here, I would also like to express my gratefulness to my dear friends, I mean, some real friends, like PP, Miss Xie, Lady Flower and
Miss J.Some of them are far from me, yet they never forget me, they think about me very often. Last week, I got a lot of little gifts
that are bought from different countries from PP, whom is one of my best friends in my life. She seldom talks to me, yet she writes to
me, she shares everything with me, and at the same time, listens sincerely to me for my every little complaint. Whenever I am upset,
I know there is a PP who stands by me forever, and this would comfort me immediately. Thank you PP. I love you.
There is also Miss J who I wanted to express my gratefulness. She was a completely kindhearted, good-natured and tolerant person
who has a great fascination. The one who gives out her sincerety to treat with her friends, the one who often sacrifice her benefit to
furfill her friends. It was her who taught me to be a mature person, to think about others and to pay back to the person who has once
help you, or loved you. We had some unhappiness before, and we do not live in the same dormtory now, yet none of us had given up
our friendship. You know what, I also want to thank god for he did not seperate us! Thank you Miss J. Thank you dear.
We are good with each other now. You know what, I also want to thank god for he did not seperate

A person who with gratitude can always feel warm and happy.
Thanks alittlegratitude for providing me a place to express my gratitude.
Thanks all my friends. Last week, something happened and made me feel blue for a long time. Lots of my friends called me or sent messages to encourage me as soon as they checked my blog. XiaoYing, thank you for listening to me and sharing my bad mood. Tiger and Tree, thank you for accompanying me and cherrying me up. Wincy, Bee, May, K, Laa… …thanks you guys. I feel grateful to have such lovely friends in my life.
Thanks music. Listening music is a good way to relax. Vexation can be relieved in the rhythm. To some degree, music is like a special kind of medicine, which can cure unhappiness in heart.
Last, thanks the “trouble matter” had past. My life become peaceful again.

I am grateful for the people who have helped me on my journey in life. During my early years I thought I could do it all myself.
However, when I reflected on my life, I can see the many people who were there for me. They were my silent guides. They showed me the way. I am grateful for them. The people that God put in my life.
I have been so taken by the silent impact of these people that I created a gift for them. And these good and kind people are always humbled by the gesture of this unique and meaningful gift.
It is called the Inunnguaq – the Icon of Hope.
It is a gift of gratitude for someone who has been your guide,

Standing in front of the bathroom mirror one early morning, I was busily brushing my daughters hair hoping we would not be late for school. As I went to tie the hair up my daughter exclaimed loudly, excited with the revelation. ” Mama, Mama”, “yes darling”, ” i know what love is !!”. I said you do? as i looked at her in the mirror, she said…..” love is when you brush my hair “.
I am grateful to have met my beautiful daughter, i am grateful she showed me what love is, and most of all I’m grateful……. she knows what love is.

I am grateful for LOVE… love so powerful it warms my heart and lifts my spirit. Love so unconditional it accepts me – however, whenever, wherever… Love so pure it clarifies my mind… Love so deep it reaches within the depths of my soul… I am grateful for all people who live love in so many ways… for all those who give it so freely… like my 89 year old Grandmother who endured the pain in her arthritic hands to write me a love letter to share with me her blessings… like my Mama who carefully framed the letter and hung it on the wall in my office… like all the things Mama does to remind me of her kind of love…
I am thankful for my sisters who share my blood… who are funny and forgiving… they mean the world to me, for my brothers who are growing to be good men, and my dear friends who are authentic, honest and supportive. I am grateful for the strength I inherited from my Sweed family and the curing nature I derived from my grandmother Cordell…
I appreciate all the ministers of love who are committed to encouraging others… like my Daddy and Step-Mother… like community and church leaders… for the people who are dedicated to making the world a better place… I am grateful.
I am grateful for love so wonderful… like my child, Hannah who touches my afro and expresses how beautiful it is, for her healing smile and her never-ending embrace… I am grateful for love so delightful… like my son who says “Mommy I love you so much”… I am grateful for all these things… for love so glorious, so caring… it protects me… like my husband who is my best friend and confidant… I am thankful for this partner in life who helps me to see the universe with new lenses, who teaches me and helps me be a more beautiful and glorious woman, wife and mother. I am grateful to God for she has created all these things… THANK YOU.

Grateful to God for the gift of health, sunshine, creativity. Gratitude for true friends, for ordinary days, for miraculous moments, for my family, for laughter. Grateful for sharing life with others, the grace to weather changes, for faith, hope, trust, guidance, support, love, perseverance, self acceptance, awareness, for writing, for artists, for eyes to see, skin to feel, ears to hear, tongue to taste, nose to smell, for farmers who raise food, for electricity, for a good night’s sleep, for cats, for naps, for music, for unity of purpose, for cooperation, for integrity, for all the blessings of today.

I have so many reasons to be grateful, particularly today on Mother’s Day. My own mother was special although long departed, and I’m grateful the start in life my parents gave me. I have wonderful children and grandchildren of my own and a loving husband. I have good health, and I hope many more years to enjoy all this. Yes I’m grateful.

I have gratitude for the simple knowledge that being grateful leads to improved thinking and a happier, better demeanor. There is always something very present in all circumstances that we can choose to be grateful for. It is making that choice where the rubber meets the road. A small smoldering flame of gratitude can be turned into a roaring blaze if we only choose to stoke the fire with grateful thoughts. Sure beats the alternate option which stokes the flames of complaint and misery.

I am grateful to be celebrating my one year of self-employment. After I was downsized a year ago, I had to decide if I was going to go back into the workforce or finally strike out on my own and pursue my dream of becoming a professional speaker and author. That decision has changed my life – and losing my job was the BEST thing that has ever happened to me!

The most invaluable lesson I have learned at Harvard comes from a very wise professor who said – “Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence – and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.” A great modern day sage goes on to say that having a sense of belongingness towards and responsibility for your community is not just applicable to being a good leader, but also a requirement for achieving true happiness.
Over the past few years, I’ve largely focused on myself – my life, my career, my money, my education, my schedule, my clothes, my likes, my dislikes. Incidentally, I’ve never felt more discontent. If happiness comes from taking responsibility for others and creating joy in their lives, I want to commit to this path.
Over the course of the next few months, I plan to write letters of gratitude to people who have brought joy to my life. Through this process, I hope to be reminded of some amazing individuals who have loved me unconditionally and can hopefully teach me to give more and take less. More on http://www.nikitasinghal.com!

I have fifteen minutes before I have to take my beautiful, healthy incredible daughter and best friend to her school where she is thriving everyday, I am so grateful for this. I am truly grateful for finding this amazing site this morning, thank you Stewart. Thank you for receiving the channel of divine love and encouraging us all to share it here. You will reach the million people of this I am sure. Many years ago now I tried to end my life. I am so grateful that I am still here and to all of the incredible angels, healers and guides who are with me on this journey. Recently I heard in the words of Mooji that if we should learn one mantra in life it is to say THANK YOU. Nothing else resonates more. THANK YOU , THANK YOU, THANK YOU X

I am thankful for the inspiration that I felt one Saturday morning in April of this year to write a blog each day. Two days later I began writing one to two hours EVERY DAY about what I am thankful for at goodmorninggratitude.com. It has been 220 days in a row now. Focusing on gratitude for an average of ten hours per week has profoundly changed my life!

I am curious if you have heard about the new Law of Attraction movie The Gratitude Experiment, featuring many of the cast from The Secret. (Bob Proctor, John Demartini, Marie Diamond and others.) Considering gratitude is such an important part of the law of attraction, I thought this might be a movie of interest to you. Here is the Website: http://www.TheGratitudeexperiment.com
